Photography
Led by Laura McCluskey
The photography module is designed to help you build your confidence behind the camera and sharpen your eye for storytelling. Through a mix of hands-on shoots, guided direction, and creative exploration, you’ll learn how to craft images that hold feeling.
The course is led by acclaimed photographer and director Laura McCluskey, known for her warm, honest aesthetic and nuanced visual style. Laura’s work, which includes campaigns for Loewe, Nike, Net-A-Porter, and British Airways, is rooted in cinematic portraiture and emotionally rich storytelling.
The photography module is ideal for you if you feel drawn to storytelling through visuals. It’s ideal for someone who already has a: have basic understanding of photography, whether self-taught or studied, and wants to elevate their work through real-world experience. If you’re looking to build a portfolio rooted in storytelling, professionalism, and art direction, this is for you.

Journalism
Led by Hattie Collins
In this module, you’ll explore how to prepare for and conduct meaningful interviews. You’ll be guided through the foundations of strong editorial writing: research, structure, flow, tone, and voice. You’ll experiment with how to translate live conversations into impactful, publishable work.
This module is led by journalist, author and radio host Hattie Collins, whose work has shaped the cultural conversation for over two decades. As Apple Music radio host and former Music Editor at i-D Magazine and contributor to British Vogue, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Hattie brings deep experience from the frontlines of media.
This course is for you already grasped the basics of journalism but want to go deeper and refine your writing, grow your confidence.

Video Retouching
Led by Wild Island Films
In this module, you’ll learn how to bring moving images to life through video retouching. From colour grading to skin work and tone, you’ll explore how post-production can transform raw footage into striking, cinematic content. You’ll be guided through professional editing tools and techniques, and start to understand the role of retouching in shaping the final feel of a film/advert.
This module is led by Wild Island Films, a leading production company working at the intersection of film, fashion and culture. Known for their visually rich storytelling, Wild Island Films creates campaign work for major global brands including Jo Malone, Nike, Levi’s and Burberry, to name a few. Their work spans commercials, branded content, and music videos, with a strong emphasis on image, emotion and style.
This course is for you if you’re curious about the world of post-production and want to understand how polished video content is made.

Image Retouching
Led by Ink Studios
In this module, you’ll explore the full journey of image making, from concept and photography through to high-end retouching. You’ll discover how professional retouching techniques are used to elevate photographs for campaigns, editorials and lookbooks.
This module is led by Ink Studios, a specialist retouching studio trusted by some of the most respected names in fashion and publishing. Their work spans campaigns and editorials for brands and platforms such as Dior, Gucci, i-D, Dazed and British Vogue. Known for their clean, natural approach and meticulous attention to detail, they bring deep industry insight into how powerful images are refined.
This course is for you if you’re drawn to photography, visual storytelling and want to understand how strong images are both captured and polished.

Set Design
Led by Thomas Bird
In this module, you’ll learn how to bring ideas to life through set design. You’ll be guided through the creative process from visual research and concept development to building sets. You’ll explore how material, space and texture can be used to express identity and atmosphere, and experiment with techniques including fabric styling and hands-on construction.
This module is led by Thomas Bird, a multidisciplinary set designer known for his refined, emotionally resonant approach to design. His work spans fashion and culture, known for his sculptural, detail-driven approach, Thomas has created sets for clients including Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Mugler and Selfridges. Thomas’s sets often explore themes of identity, intimacy and imagination, using visual storytelling to build worlds that feel both grounded and poetic.
This module is for you if you’re interested in storytelling through space and want to get hands-on with the process of design and fabrication.

Fashion Styling
Led by Jake Songui-Hunte and Emily J Davies
In this module, you’ll learn how to craft strong visual stories through fashion. You’ll explore what it means to work as a stylist from building references and sourcing looks to developing a creative direction that aligns with a brief or concept. Alongside practical styling work, you’ll also dive into the behind-the-scenes world of fashion PR, gaining insight into how stylists access collections, liaise with press teams and navigate the realities of shoot prep.
This module is led by stylists Jake Songui-Hunte and Emily J Davies, both of whom work across brand, music and editorial projects. Jake brings a culture-led approach to styling, having worked on campaigns for Nike, Adidas, Birkenstock, Boiler Room, Hypebeast and Schuh. Emily’s work blends sportswear, identity and fashion with storytelling, styling campaigns for Arsenal Football Club, New Balance, Nike, Timberland and Dr Martens. Together, they bring a practical, honest and creative approach to styling in today’s fashion landscape.
This course is for you if you’re curious about how fashion images and campaigns are put together. Whether you’re experimenting with styling already or just starting out, you’ll leave with a stronger sense of process, taste and technical skill and a clearer understanding of the stylist’s role in the wider fashion ecosystem.

Graphic Design
In this module, you’ll learn how to use graphic design to bring stories and ideas to life. You’ll explore the fundamentals of layout, typography, composition and visual language and how these tools can be used to shape mood, meaning and style on the page. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with structure, build creative concepts and think critically about how design influences the way we see and feel.
Through hands-on workshops, you’ll start to develop your own design ideas and build confidence in communicating visually. You’ll also explore references across publishing, fashion and culture to sharpen your creative instincts and strengthen your design choices.
This course is for you if you’re drawn to visual storytelling and want to understand how strong editorial design is built. Whether you’re completely new to graphic design or looking to sharpen your layout skills, you’ll leave with practical tools and a more defined design perspective.
